1. Smoothie bowl

2. Omelet

Nothing like eggs for breakfast in the morning! This meal is quick to make and filling. All you need are eggs, vegetables, cheese, meat, cooking oil, a frying pan and some heat. Replace normal cooking oil with olive oil for extra nutrition and healthy fats. It may seem difficult at first to flip an omelet perfectly, but there are tricks to making a perfect omelet. 3. Banana pancakes

At first it may not seem so healthy, but it’s a different kind of pancake! These pancakes only require two ingredients: bananas and eggs. That’s it! No added sugar or flour. It contains protein and fruit for a healthy breakfast. It’s one of my personal favorites because they taste sweet, but are still healthy. They also taste the same as normal pancakes! However, they come out pretty thin, you might want to do more.

4. Yogurt granola bowl

This is perhaps one of the easiest recipes to date. All it takes is yogurt, granola and fruit. Just put it in a bowl and you’re done! It’s my favorite breakfast for busy mornings because it’s quick to prepare. You can also add toppings. Super easy to make, super nutritious and delicious. Because it’s so simple, it doesn’t require a recipe. You can, however, head to Pinterest for inspiration-worthy photos here:

5. Rolled oats

A good hearty meal that will keep you satisfied until noon. I always make it for breakfast when I want to eat something that will keep me full longer. Oatmeal is a classic breakfast recipe with many variations. You don’t have to buy the packaged goods for a delicious breakfast. Instead, make it with plain oats. It also tastes better. Add fruit, peanut butter, nuts, chocolate or anything you like for toppings. There are endless ways to create oatmeal. This Youtube video has some of the best tips and recipes for making oatmeal.

Pro Tip: Add milk instead of water for a less mushy bowl of oats.

6. Breakfast Burrito

This appetizing meal can be made plant-based or with meat. It’s the perfect breakfast for those craving something a little less sweet. It is also a good brunch. Breakfast burritos are often made with ingredients such as eggs, avocado, and cheese. So delicious! I haven’t tried making this meal yet, but I plan to with this recipe: https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/breakfast-burritos.html

7. Avocado Toast

Everyone’s had avocado toast. It’s healthy, simple and satisfying. All you really need is bread, avocado and salt. You can even add a fried or poached egg on top. Because making avocado toast is pretty self-explanatory, here’s a link for poaching eggs if you want to make your toast even more delicious (because poaching an egg is harder than it looks) from l one of my favorite YouTube chefs: https://downshiftology.com/recipes/poached-eggs/

Pro Tip: For extra flavor, add olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a little cayenne pepper. So good!

8. Grill

It doesn’t just have to be basic white bread and butter. It can be turned into a healthy meal with lots of toppings. For example, one of my favorite toast recipes is Almond Butter Banana Toast, which simply involves toasting whole-wheat bread and spreading almond butter on top. Cut a banana to put slices on top. For additional toppings, use nuts or add chia seeds.
