Make gingerbread for Christmas

You can’t enter the new year without gingerbread. Here we explain the recipe for making gingerbread cookies for you.

your equipment list

  • 125 g. softened butter
  • 110 g. brown sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons powdered ginger
  • Half a glass of honey

For the above

  • 240 g. Granulated sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

How are you going to do it?

  1. Beat the butter, sugar and egg yolk with a mixer. Add honey, flour and baking powder and mix well. Add flour or honey if necessary.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of 5mm. Cut it out using a mold, place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool.
  3. Beat the egg white and lemon juice with a mixer. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue beating until it thickens. Fill the cone with parchment paper and decorate the cookies as you wish.
