What to include on your summer 2021 to-do list

With summer fast approaching for the other half of the globe, it’s always a good idea to make a to-do list to ensure that summer vacation is full of sun, sand and fun! Don’t sit inside while it’s hot and the sun is shining, get outside and make summer 2021 a summer you’ll never forget.

If you don’t know how to fill those days when you’re in the right place, here are some activities to fill your summer vacation.

Find the best ice cream in town

Nothing says summer like a delicious sweet treat to cool you down, maybe you have a favorite ice cream shop you always go to, why not try something new? Make it your goal to find the best ice cream in town!

Grab your friends and a list of places and drive or if you find you can’t swallow too many ice creams in one day, make it a summer goal to try a new place whenever you feel like it.

Dock jump

Adrenaline junkies who want a little thrill on those hot summer days can cool off by jumping off the dock. Find a safe spot that doesn’t have any rocks or corals underneath and get into the water.

It’s great fun and one to add to the to-do list. Those of us who are afraid of heights, believe me, it’s never as high as it seems!

Splash around when the sun goes down

On hot summer days, the beaches are full of people soaking up the sun and splashing in the cool water, but who’s to say swimming at night isn’t so much fun?

Preferably jumping into the ocean when it’s warm and sunny is what’s normal, but feeling the adrenaline rush as you emerge into the water around a deserted beach is a completely different feeling. Try to go at dusk or dawn when it’s relatively bright, and you can watch the sunrise or sunset in the most magnificent way!

Hike to a hidden gem

Look for hidden hiking gems in your city and go visit them! It’s so easy to find such a beautiful place somewhere that you never thought you were there. It might be a bit of a drive or if you’re lucky not too far!

Find a nature trail that has a lookout or even a waterfall, sometimes the most beautiful spots we find are right in front of us.

Learn to surf or paddle

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is paddleboarding, and I haven’t mastered surfing yet, but it’s a great activity to do with family and friends (if you have a dog, your pup can get away with it). sit on the board while you paddle).

Rent a paddle board or go for a surf lesson or even try to organize a competition or a race between you and your family or friends for the day.

Take a road trip

Summer is the perfect season for road trips, with no rain and lots of good vibes. Grab your best friends, fuel up and get in the car!

Find places to stop, explore, and make the most of every experience along the way. Drive an hour or a few hours, nothing like a roadie for the perfect summer vacation.

Go away

This to-do list suggestion ties into hitting the road for a road trip, get out of your town for a while! Book a weekend or a few nights with your friends somewhere new or somewhere you love.

Spend this summer trying new things, new places, new foods, meeting new people and having new experiences!

Organize a picnic

Good weather, food and good company are all you need to enjoy your day. Plan a picnic with your friends in a place where you can enjoy a relaxing or busy day.

The surrounding beaches, parks and quiet corners are the best places to organize a summer meeting. Pack plenty of food, drinks, sunscreen and don’t forget the music.

Win a water fight

If you’re feeling a little tired from all that exploring and adventure, invite your friends over for a water fight.

Whether you already have squirt guns or decide to venture to your local store to pick up some dips to use, this is a fun activity (no matter how old you are!) Don’t forget to put away all the phones, otherwise this might get a little messy…

Nautical sports

If you are lucky enough to own a boat or know someone who owns a boat, water sports are the best way to enjoy a great day!

Try wakeboarding or water skiing this summer, it’s worth it. If you have access to tubes or cookies, give it a try! Remember that you can get freaked out at least once or twice… maybe more.

Create an outdoor cinema

No one wants to be stuck inside watching a movie, bring the movie outside! Whether you decide to go all the way and get a projector or just have it on your laptop, an outdoor movie can still be fun on those humid summer nights. Pop the corn and put all your movie suggestions in one bowl and get ready to enjoy!

Pizza night

Who said you can’t be a chef for one night? Invite your friends and family to make their own pizzas. All you need at the grocery store are pizza bases, sauces, cheese, and toppings of your choice.

It’s delicious and everyone loves putting on what they love and bonding in the kitchen. Watch the sunset outside while you talk and laugh with your friends over your delicious creations.

Fill a disposable camera

Waterproof or not, disposable cameras capture the best memories. Make it your goal to fill an entire disposable camera capturing all the good, bad and crazy summer moments.

Phones are great for capturing memories, but there’s something about waiting for your photos to develop that makes them so much better.

Summer is going by quicker than expected, and it’s great to have plenty to do while you’re on vacation instead of lounging around all the time. Make as many plans as possible and create amazing memories this summer that you will never forget, with this list you will surely be able to make the summer one to remember.

Remember to stay hydrated, protected from the sun and enjoy an exciting and adventurous break!
