If you’re like me, you’re always looking for something new in general. Every summer, I always do the same things every year, and I’m constantly looking for new things to do. I love summer. However, this year it might be different due to Covid-19. Some places may require you to wear a mask. Keep this in mind as you may want to call the company ahead to see what the restrictions will be. Of course, everyone is going on vacation and looking for things to do. If you’re like me and want to do something new and different this summer, then this article is definitely a must-read for you!

1. Road Trip with your favorite people

Get together with your friends and start planning a road trip together! You could go wherever you want. Ask your friends what they want to see, and everyone can compromise on where you all go. You can even go to each location and make the trip for a week or even longer. You can also start saving money now. It will be complicated to plan and organize, but I can promise you that it will be totally worth it! Click on the links to see some of my favorite places to go on a road trip! If you’ve never been to a thrift store, you have to go this summer! One of the best things about thrift stores is that you never know what you’re going to find. Ask your friends or family if they want to go with you! Second-hand shopping is always better with other people. While you’re saving, you can also go to a restaurant you’ve never tried before to mix things up a bit. Don’t be afraid to try new things! Click here to see the Fifty-Two 80’s vintage thrift store! 3. Have a bonfire

If you and your friends have never had a bonfire, you absolutely must have one! My friends and I have bonfires together all the time. We talk about everything and nothing, we listen to music, we play games, etc. We could even toast marshmallows and make s’mores! It’s a good excuse to get together with all your friends to catch up on lost time. You can even go for a swim or do something that day and then once it gets dark outside you can go have a bonfire. Summer is all about memories, so get your firewood ready!

4. Go to a state fair

Personally, I’ve been to a state fair before. Believe me, it’s definitely worth the trip. When it was time for us to leave, I didn’t want to go. It was so much fun. You and your friends could all pile into a vehicle and head to a state fair. If you want to make it even more fun, you can stay near the State Fair in a hotel and spend the next day visiting all sorts of places. State fairs are packed with rides, carnival game booths and food trucks. If you’re anything like me, you’d drive a certain number of hours just to get the funnel cake from the fair. 5.Make an escape room

If you’ve never made an escape room before, you absolutely must make one! An escape room is a room you pay for and are locked inside. You will have 1 hour to find clues to unlock the locks and find the key to escape the room and get out. In addition, each room has a different theme. I’ve done so many escape rooms. I love them so much! They are also a great experience and memory maker with other people. I’ve always dreamed of going to see a drive-in! If you don’t know what a drive-in movie is, it’s basically a movie, but you’re going to pull up in your car to watch it. You also turn on your radio to a certain station to listen to the movie. I’ve only ever seen drive-in movies about things like Grease on TV. It would be super awesome to go make one. You and your friends or family could take a road trip to see one! This idea is perfect considering our current climate; this idea is compatible with COVID.
